As a pre-veterinary student, I have had many years of experience working for animals for their custodial, technical, and clinical care. I have worked closely with cats of tame, semi-feral, or feral kinds at my local cat shelter - this has allowed me to understand behavioural cues from cats of all temperaments. I am also currently working at a veterinary hospital as a veterinary assistant to aid cats and dogs in treatment and hospitalization, allowing me to recognize important medical concerns and how to treat them. I have also volunteered with rodents, seals, and exotic birds, and will care for any animal as my own!
