No professional training but have always had animals, in younger years assisted my neighbor at his dog kennel, feeding, walking and caring for dogs in his absence. I have my own dog that is getting older that can no longer go on as long of walks as I'd like! She requires medication daily so that isn't an issue either if your animal needed medication.
