I've had cats for decades, long hair and short hair. I've babysat dogs from teeny Chiweenies to massive Mastiffs. I enjoy caring for tropical fish too. Birds are beautiful, but I'd rather appreciate them from a safe distance. Reptiles and amphibians are a hard pass for me. Not going there. Medically, I've administered liquids and pills, cooked special diet foods for those who need it. What I don't know, I ask vets about, research from trusted data sources. For some reason, animals I don't even know will walk right up to me as though they've known me forever, nudge me or lick me as a friend. That's the highest compliment ever!
