Having grown up with dogs and a cat my whole life, I have a lot of experience with general care for pets. My most recent dog was a golden retriever, which is a very high energy dog who requires a lot of attention. We have always fed our dogs a mix of kibble and homemade meals, meaning I am comfortable and aware of proper portioning for different size dogs with different needs. I adopted a kitten a year ago who I am solely responsible for so I’m comfortable with everything that come with a have a fur princess. I also feed my cat part prescription diet, part homemade food so I am aware and comfortable with a cats nutritional needs. I currently walk 2 dogs, one large dog and one small dog together on a regular basis which includes a bath after each walk. They are only 1-1.5 yrs old meaning I do work on some basics with them such as speaking, down, too far, come, sit, and other basic commands. I normally take the dogs running and on basic hike in 1-2 hour spans.
