I am a 3rd year science student studying physiology and will be applying to vet school this coming fall. I grew up with a golden retriever, who is now 12 years old and was diagnosed with cancer. She requires lots of attention, hourly pill administration and weekly trips to the vet. I care for her at my London residence during the school year if my parents are going on vacation. This experience has provided me with invaluable skills of reliability, care, and responsibility. Now I am raising a puppy in training to become a service dog for National Service Dogs (NSD). This puppy is a huge responsibility, being a 1 year commitment, but I am clearly up to the task. This puppy is 5 months old and I train her according to service dog guidelines and care for her like my own, as I would do for your pet if I were to pet sit for you.
