For the last 2 years, I have been working in a boarding kennel/vet clinic (Zoot Pets) in my hometown. My responsibilities included walking dogs, controlling and monitoring groups of dogs in play yards, feeding dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, birds, and reptiles, bathing dogs, training dogs, administering medication to dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, birds, and reptiles, and taking responsibility for the general care and well-being of all the pets as they stayed either for pet daycare or overnight. Before I started at Zoot, I walked dogs in my neighborhood, took care of cats and dogs in people's homes during extended vacations and just for the day, fostered two 5-week old puppies for a month, and raised and trained my own 2 dogs. While I have extensive experience in pet care, I also am confident in my childcare skills as well.
