About Mary
23 years old
I am a 5th year university student at Acadia University, studying sociology and minoring in ethnocultural diversity studies. I've always had a deep love for animals, so much so that my very first job was walking dogs in my neighbourhood and providing care for animals when neighbours were away. I even went to vent camp in across Canada in PEI (I'm originally from Alberta) to explore careers centred around animals. I have also owned and loved a cat of my own that was my entire world and understand how important finding someone you can trust with your fur-baby is.
I believe studying sociology gives me a unique perspective into animals rights and ethics and I hope to at some point pursue a job that allows me to speak for those who can't speak for themselves. As a university student who's current apartment does not allow pets I would be absolutely love getting to spend time with and ensure your fur-baby is well taken care of while you are away. I am a reliable, trustworthy person with a strong moral compass and big heart for animals. I do my best to keep up with and research pet health and nutrition in my free time as well. I look forward to discussing opportunities with you. (:
