Although I’ve had pets my whole life, my pet sitting started about 3-4 years ago. I first started pet sitting a mutual friends kitten while they were living in their dorm. Unfortunately he was born with some physical disabilities, and had special needs I was more than willing to care for. After a couple months of having the kitten with me, and his owner ready to take him home; I started “fostering” a ferret. She needed a home while a friend found a new pet friendly space. The ferret was definitely a new experience, but I learned lots during those couple months:) A little while after, I started taking care of a mutual friends adult cat, spent two weeks taking care of two Rottweilers, and hosting a beta fish while the owners are away. I’d love to share my high energy personality with some more fur-babies!
