I have personally owned a cat and birds and looked after a family dog and cat. I have taken care of two people's cats in just the last two months. Both were female cats one age two the second age 10 both were rescue animals. I have dealt with both feral and indoor cats and dogs of all sizes over the years. I am comfortable with animals their schedules. So if they want to cuddle and I should be leaving that's fine. If they want to walk a bit longer than planned then that's fine if that is fine with you. There's no extra charge for the extra time your animal chooses to take.
