Hello - I am recently retired and have time and energy to care for people's pets when they are at work or when away on vacation I have experience pet sitting for people in Halifax,Winnipeg and Charlo, New Brunswick. When I visit people's cats, I usually stay awhile so they don't feel too lonely. If I am taking care of dogs, I take them for walks to parks and play with them if they like that. When I am pet sitting, my main responsibility is to make sure the pets are safe at all times. I have dealt with such emergencies as dogs throwing up and one that got skunked. I pulled a splinter out of a dog's paw when it was limping. I can give medication if necessary. I follow feeding instructions and make sure pets have enough water. I have cared for two of my own cats from kitten-hood. I am loving and respectful to animals at all times. I can live in or visit. My fees are flexible depending on services needed.
