Hi! I’m a pre-veterinary student at the UofM, I’m comfortable working with many animals. I've been trained by veterinarians on how to properly hold and interact with them, by volunteering at a vet clinic. I have 3 years experience of administering medicines and needles at the clinic. I have pet sat over the past 2-3 years. I frequently dog-sat for a large black Labrador mix, as well as a senior cat (overnight sitting for 1-2 weeks at a time). I have lots of experience with walking large dogs, and aggressive dogs, as well as feeding cats and dogs. I work at Petsmart, I've been trained in avian, reptile, fish, canine, feline, and small mammal care, and noticing signs of stress in these animals, and how to deal with these accordingly. I volunteer in grooming, leading and tacking up horses. I am capable of lifting heavy weights such as a draft horses hooves. This comes in handy for lifting dog food, restraining large dogs on leashes, and lifting animals.
