I’ve had my own dog for 5 years, and unfortunately lost him during a divorce. For the first 2 years of his puppy life I’ve trained him with a professional trainer who was responsible for training my townships police dogs. He was trained for obedience competitions, although, we did not part take in the competitions, the training was a lot of fun for the both of us. I understand the importance of setting healthy boundaries with dogs as well as making sure they are provided with appropriate daily stimulation.
