I want to be a pet sitter to fill in my time outside of working and university. This opportunity will also help me during my vet school application by allowing me to experience working with many different individuals. I can offer in home visits, or boarding in my own house depending on your pet's needs and comfort level. I have a quiet and spacious 12 ft x 30 ft bedroom in which shy pets can be kept separate, or friendly dogs and cats can roam the house and befriend my roommate's papillon. I work in a veterinary setting and have extensive experience with administering medications, grooming, and a knowledge of basic training for both cats and dogs. I also have experience working with reptiles and birds. In my spare time I love to read and go hiking or rock climbing. In addition to this, I also foster cats with behavioural issues for the Guelph humane society. I love working with them and seeing the progress that results from the time and love I devote to caring for them before they find their forever homes!
