I have lots of personal experience with both dogs and cats! I have my own two kitties at my mum's back in Ottawa, Kitty (female, 8yrs) and Taco Bell (male, >2yrs). My dogs back home, Logan (male, 3yrs) and Raven (7mos). I've been caring for dogs for about 12 years now, and started with my little Yorkie/Maltese mix who was special needs and I looked after him in his more senior years, too. And in terms of big breeds, I have fostered Great Danes and German Shepherds in the past, but my family recently adopted Raven, our Great Dane/ Bullmastiff mix who is just a ball of energy! I care for any pet as if they are my own, so I would only do the same with the client's furry friend. Depending on the situation, adequate thought would be put into the activity engaging with the pet, for example a senior kitty would not get the same attention/activities as a puppy Boarder Collie would. The services I provide would be communicated with the client before taking care of their pet so both the client and I are on the same page of expectations!
