I grew up on a farm, taking care of our pets since day one.. From kittens being born in my closet, to catching koi and handling reptiles, walking our little dogs, great Pyranese, and caring for horses I loved it all! Now that I'm living the city life I still love animals with all my heart, and cherish meeting new furryfriends and having fun! I still have some of my childhood pets years later as an adult. Though I recently had to say goodbye to my best friend, Lily whom I had for 11 amazing years <3 I am enjoying playing with other people's dogs right now more than ever, being sure to give extra scratches to every pup I meet! Animals naturally trust me, I used to regularly help my local spca/bylaw catch strays.. we called it "Emily's catch of the day.." because it was almost that often that a scared lost or abandoned pet would find its way safely into my arms. I'm sure you'll find that your pets warm up to me quickly with my calm presence and warm personality. Aside from pets, my passion is kids! I regularly work as a nanny, as well as with children and adults with disabilities. I find these caregiver roles suit me well :) my schedule is quite flexible to meet the needs of my clients.
