About me: I have nine (9) years of experience as a pet sitter (cats, dogs, reptiles) and dog walker. I can be a calming, grounding presence for nervous animals, as well as an enthusiastic, playful presence for the ones who have lots of energy to burn! I know that every animal, like every human, has different needs and I consider myself to be very attentive to them. I probably love cuddling, playing, and going for walks just as much as your pet does (oops). I have some experience with positive-reinforcement training and I'm always looking to expand on my knowledge. I have an MA in Educational Psychology and work as a coach with children and young adults while I'm not pet sitting :) Safety, trust & environment: It's really important for me that I maintain your pet's routine while you're away, especially if I'm sitting with them overnight. If your cat or dog eats meals at 8 AM and 5 PM, that is when I'll want to feed them as well. If they're used to snuggles before bed time, I'll be the big or little spoon! I want to give them minimal disruptions and the most stability, especially if they have some separation anxiety or are sensitive to change.
