My childhood has had various cats and dogs and even a corn snake, that I have been responsible for taking care of as well as friends and family who have relied on me to watch their furbabies. Loads of playing with toys, walks and cuddles. I have various medication experiences with animals. Our senior cat needed a lot of care towards the end with oral syringes of medication and hiding or crushing up pills for him. Our now senior, puppy had to have an emergency surgery and needed cream to be applied to her wound when she ripped her stitches open. And into my adult years I have cats of my own, my kitten scratched his eye and needed eye drops twice a day. And I have watched two dogs for a neighbor of mine while she worked out of country on rotation. I walked them in the morning and let them out every 4 hours after that. We played with toys and cuddled on the couch for a bit after. Ive even been through helping my momma cat when a kitten got stuck at birth.
