I’ve grown up taking care of dogs in my family (schnoodle, terriers, and schnauzers). I have two mischievous 9 year old cats of my own, BooBoo and Ellie (see photos) since they were kittens. I enjoy taking regular hour-long walks on my own, and would be happy to bring your dog along for some exercise! Though most of my experience has been caring for medium-small dogs, I’m comfortable handling larger dogs as well, and I will be consistent with whatever training you currently use for your dog :) With cats, I’m respectful of their space, and don’t seek to force them to socialize until they’re ready—I’d like to think I’m fairly adept at reading cat behaviour, especially as my own have quite the personalities (and no concept of personal space). If you’re looking for someone to give your cat some play time to tire them out, or a calm companion so they don’t feel lonely while you’re away, I’m here :) I work part-time as the nanny of an adventurous 4 year old, and am finishing up my undergrad in Women's Studies. While I don’t have references specific to pet-sitting (this is a new income stream for me), I can definitely give you ones for children, if that will help you put your mind at ease :) Take care!
