I have experience volunteering with Elderdog as a Dog Care Volunteer for about 3 years (2021-Present). Main duties are taking the client's dog for a walk weekly. My experience feeding and brushing dogs comes from owning my own German Shepherd many years back and a Chihuahua-Shih Tzu cross. I also have experience taking care of small birds, such as society or zebra finches. I am passionate about animals and take care of them! Your pet will be loved and cared for wholeheartedly! Animals tend to like me very easily! I'm a friendly, outgoing and energetic person who knows animal behaviour to an extent and can read body language. I take care of on-boarding new clients as an Elderdog volunteer, which involves a test short walk of their dog and a behavioural assessment.
