Though I don’t have any professional experience, gardening has been a big part of my upbringing, passed down from my father, and his mother before him. For about a decade I lived as a bit of a nomad, traveling and working across Canada as a singer and dancer, but as I got older I transitioned away from the performance world and instead, into yoga. I reconnected with my roots, moving back home to Winnipeg, and settled in for the past 2 and a half year. With some encouragement from my partner, we transformed our home, and I fell in LOVE with plants and gardening. I currently mama over 30 plants inside my home, and a beautiful garden in front and back, a large percentage collected through shared/gifted plants and propagation. This summer I was hired by my family to care for their garden as they renovated the interior of their home and realized I would love to do more of this. I really just love working with the soil, putting physical energy into something beautiful, and caring for plant life.
