Some of the nursing jobs I have had and currently have involve household cleaning. I have always found cleaning to be therapeutic--I do it when I'm stressed!! I currently work 12 hr shifts at my current nursing job so I have 7 days off every two weeks and was hoping to find a side cleaning job or two to make a little extra for the home I hope to soon buy. I recently did a cleaning job for a friend of a friend who was moving back to Ontario. The home this lady bought was lovely but the previous owners were not big on cleaning. When the stove was pulled out--the back, sides and the floor were covered in grease and food/spices. With much effort I was able to remove all the grease/dirt in those areas. The tops of the cupboards were also covered in a thick layer of grease/dust. I don't just clean the dirt that can be seen but the dirt that's hidden away. If your someone that isn't sticky on having me come the same day every week--and you want your home cleaned well.
