I'm Victoria, a young and enthusiastic outdoor professional who has been caring for and educating children on and off since I entered the work force almost ten years ago. I was a teachers assistant at a Montessori School for three years during high school, would babysit and nanny on my off time, have volunteered with nature schools in the Comox Valley and spent the last seven months working as a youth outdoor educator . In my winter season, I work as as ski and snowboard instructor at Mount Washington. I would love to help families with their childcare and hopefully find a family who I can really get to know and be their reliable support. I am also very keen on outdoor education and would love opportunities to take kids outside, whenever their schedules allow. I'll be spending my winter season working as a ski and snowboard instructor at Mount Washington and (hopefully) doing school part time as well, so evenings and weekends are my available times for childcare!
