Hello I am a Kiwi who has just moved to the Yukon and am looking for babysitting work. I have a large amount of experience with kids, from after school care to looking after them on a ski field. I started babysitting in my last years of high school and had a couple of kids that I looked after a few times a week after school. These responsibilities included walking them home from school, getting afternoon tea for them, a lot of outdoor playing a swell as inside, helping with homework and getting them to after school activities. I then went on to becoming a ski instructor where teaching kids was and still are my favourite lessons. Alongside teaching, I also worked in the mountains Kids Club for two seasons. This was a large responsibility and I had to care for many kids at a time, we get them ready and dressed in their ski gear, take them out to their lessons, look after them if cold or upset, give them lunch and return them safely to their parents. I enjoy working with kids and making their day a happy day, I am hoping to get some babysitting work while in Whitehorse during day or night time!
