Hello, my name is Topaz and I am 28 years old with over 10 years of childcare experience. My passion for caring for children comes from growing up in a big family where the moment one child outgrew the nest another came to take their place. As one of the eldest of the flock, I observed, learned and eventually participated in caring for younger relatives. My experience as a caregiver isn’t my only asset. I have several others, some of which have to do with my light-hearted personality. This along with my youthful appearance has aided in building a trusting bond with the children that I have cared for. I don’t hold back on embracing my inner child. I will go to whatever lengths in order to entertain them, teach them, communicate with them and make them feel safe. I love to engage them in fun activities (indoor and outdoor play). I am aware of the developmental milestones that must be met and pride myself on working with the parents to create activities that are educational, engaging and subjective to each child. I am fully vaccinated, am a certified Personal Support Worker, have CPR and First Aid certificates and I am comfortable caring for any pets that might be present in your home.
