My name is Sydney. I am 23-years-old and I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old. In elementary school I took a babysitting course, where I became CPR certified. I went to Vanier College where I studied Social Sciences with a Child studies Major. During that time I worked as a babysitter, at a special needs camp for children, Ethan's playground as a party animator/camp counselor, and I tutored cegep students. I then attended McGill University where I studied Psychology. During the course of my degree I worked at WIAIH as an animator for special needs teens and adults organizing recreational programs. I graduated McGill with distinction in May 2019, and have since been working in a daycare as a communication aide, under the guidance and supervision of a Speech Language Pathologist. I was recently offered admission into McGill's Speech Language Pathology Master's program which I will be attending in the Fall. I love doing arts and crafts activities, reading, and yoga. I am very passionate about health and wellness. I love going on walks and spending time in nature with my dogs. Most of all I love helping working with children, which is why I chose this field.
