My name is Sophie and I am a 4thyear student pursuing my secondary schooling at the University of Lethbridge. I was just accepted into the Faculty of Education, with hopes to become an elementary gym teacher in the near future. I have completed two practicum experiences full time in a classroom environment caring for young children. Last summer I nannied for a family with a 3 year old daughter and one year old son and loved it. (Willing to provide a reference contact upon request:)) I am very passionate about child care and creating meaningful relationships with families! Two summers ago, I worked at First Step Academy Daycare as a preschool teacher, along with working at Winsport in Calgary as ringette camp instructor and learn to skate instructor. I have also had the pleasure of working in the restaurant industry thus excelling my people skills and customer service. I have a strong background in physical education and kinesiology, as I am in a dual degree pursuing both my Bachelor of Education and Bachelor of General Social Sciences and Kinesiology.
