Hi, my name is Skylar. I am an English instructor who also loves looking after and working with children. I have four years of experience working with children ages 3-12. I've worked as a fulltime nanny as well as a babysitter. Some of my duties included pick-up and drop-off at school, meal prep, and help with homework. I also love to take the children I look after out to the park and for walks, particularly as the weather gets nicer. Another passion of mine is teaching. During March of 2016, I travelled to Cambodia for three weeks where I worked with young students at a preschool, playing and singing with them, as well as helping them with simple activities such as coloring and doing puzzles. I also volunteered at another school in Cambodia with older students where I taught math and English lessons and helped the teacher with testing. Last spring I received my TESOL certificate, and I am definitely open to help with homework/tutoring/English lessons as well. My experiences with children have helped me to realize how much I love working with them. I hope to be able to look after yours!
