Hey there! My name is Shayla, and I'm a recent Lethbridge College Child and Youth Care Graduate. I've recently moved to Lacombe, AB, and I'm seeking a caretaker position in or around Lacombe. I'm 25 years old, and I have 7 years of nannying experience, including families with 4+ children, twins, special needs, teenagers and new borns. I have my First Aid and CPR certs, as well as Mental Health First Aid. In addition to my nannying experience, I have experience working in adolescent group homes, youth treatment centres, community non-profits, schools and alternative schools. I have a passion for working with all youth, and my heart is particularly drawn to working with and caring for young children! I believe that fostering their growth and independence safely through play, imagination, creativity, life skills, and communication is extremely important. My passion for working with children and youth is evident in my enthusiastic, caring, compassionate and hardworking personality.
