Hello there! My name is Sarah and I recently moved to North Vancouver as an au pair. I finish my doctorate training to be a Clinical Psychologist in the UK in late September, and wanted to take a bit of a career change/scenery change before committing to long-term work. Canada is my favourite country in the world and it's always been a dream of mine to spend some extended time here to explore more, and enjoy the beautiful scenery. The kids I au pair for are at school school so I'm just looking for some additional hours - in the daytime, evenings, or weekends. As I'm a Clinical Psychologist by trade, emotional wellbeing and child development is super important to me. It is so key to learn about a child as an individual, and build a trusting relationship where they feel safe and supported. Your children and their needs will be priority. My childcare style is super interactive - I love doing activities at home (cooking/craft/sports), and taking the children further afield.
