My name is Sarah, I am a child care worker. I have worked with children for ten plus years, and have worked with every age, from six months to eighteen years old. I have worked at a daycare with the youngest group, six to eighteen months, and our group contained ten babies. I work hard with these babies to make sure that they were constantly developing, learning how to sit on their own, moving around a little, crawling, and walking. I also made sure that they were developing in their diets and intellectually. I worked as a nanny for a family with three children, twin girls that were two when I started with the family, and a baby girl who was 11 months. I worked with the parents to help raise the children into loving and well-mannered girls. I have work with kids from six to twelve in camp setting and in after school programs. At the many camps, I work at I was sometimes a group leader, meaning that I was responsible for one of the age groups bring them from one activity to another, helping with the activity and being the main discipline person. I was sometimes an activity leader, so I would run games or crafts or story times.
