I began volunteering at children's camps at the Cochrane Humane Society at a very young age and even received a University scholarship for this in my graduating year. Aside from volunteer work, I worked as a children's summer camp counsellor for many years. Skills I've build from my work over time are conflict resolution, care giving skills, as well as finding the perfect balance between friend and authority figure. I attended the University of Alberta for environmental studies & outdoor education, and have a goal to be a a french elementary school teacher, given I am fluent in french as well as english. I spend the majority of my spare time in the outdoors, running, biking, skiing and making art. Additionally, I am first aid certified.
