Hi there! My name is Robyn, and I am a responsible person who loves to work with kids. I am looking to supplement my current employment and connect with a local family in need of some extra help! Over the past few years, I have volunteered with school age children in Vancouver, and since moving to Sooke a year ago, I've obtained my Responsible Adult Certificate and Early Childhood Education Assistant Certificate. I currently work with both a pre-school and out of school care program at a local daycare, with kids ranging from 2-11 years old! I also have a degree in Creative Writing and Film Studies from UBC, and love to incorporate creativity into my work with kids whenever possible. I have my own reliable vehicle and a clean Driver's Abstract, and am a bit of a clean freak so I'm keen on helping with housekeeping (and deep cleaning!) wherever possible. In my spare time, I love to explore the trails and beaches in the area, and would love to share these experiences with kids to help build positive and respectful relationships with nature!
