I am writing in response to your ad for an Early Childhood Educator Assistant. I have experience working and playing with children over the past six years, primarily working with children aged 2 to 12. I am very playful, flexible, relentlessly positive, energetic, and curious. I have an Early Childhood Educator Assistant Certificate, a Standard First Aid Certificate with CPR-C and AED, and FOODSAFE Level 1. I have been working primarily as a daycare/preschool assistant, and I am hoping to use the skills learned there to assist your family. I helped the younger children with self-care commensurate with age and ability, mostly preparing healthy lunches and yummy snacks, settle down for naps, and maintain hygiene through proper toileting, diaper changing, and bathing. I helped build, clean, and maintain the various activity spaces, equipment, materials, and toys. I worked successfully with children who had autism, sensory disorders, post-traumatic stress, conduct disorder, profound deafness, and low vision.
