I am a nature-educator with 10+ years of experience working with children of all ages. I have First Aid and CPR “C” certification, valid police check, a degree in Environmental Studies with a specialization in Education and a certificate in Community Arts Practice. Among these certifications I have training and extensive experience in risk management, inquiry-based learning, and naturalist training. I have run training programs for ECE’s and trained hundreds of other outdoor educators. Specific experience in building childhood resilience and connection to nature. For the past 7 years I have been working for an Outdoor Education non-profit in Toronto as a Lead Educator and Summer Camp Director. As I am relocating to Ottawa, I am looking for part time or full time work as a nanny for a family that values nature for their child(ren) and would like to supplement their child’s life with a deep connection to nature cultivated by an experienced educator.
