I have five years of camp counselling experience and two years of experience as a children's program instructor with the city of Markham. In both roles, I was responsible for organizing and running activities for 10+ kids, while ensuring both their safety and happiness. I had the opportunity to interact with children with a diverse range of needs, such as children with ASD, down syndrome, and brittle bone syndrome. Consequently, I am comfortable working with a wide range of children. I have acquired CPR training and I am certified with High Five: Principles of Healthy Child Development. I believe all of these certifications have enhanced my overall knowledge and ability to safely care for children. In addition, I grew up with a nanny who took outstanding care of myself and my siblings. Thus, I have seen and experienced first-hand the way that children should be cared for and I intend to hold myself to the same standard of excellence. As well, I possess a BScH in psychology which has reinforced how crucial it is for children to have an enriching environment during their early developmental years. Overall, I am a very friendly, kind and nurturing person who also has a knack for cleaning.
