I am a Recreation Therapist with experience using play and leisure in purposeful, meaningful ways to support the lives of individuals of all ages. While my more recent experience is working within retirement and long-term care settings with older adults and individuals with disabilities, I have a passion for working with children. I have experience with a variety of ages, from 6 months old to 15 years old, and have experience babysitting multiple children. I am also comfortable with animals as my family has 4 dogs and 3 cats. I grew up playing a variety of sports including hockey and ringette and participated in music and art on the side. Because of this, there are a variety of activities I am able to do with your children, from playing sports outside, to colouring in the kitchen, to helping them practice their musical instrument, to assisting with homework. I am comfortable with technology and am an experienced online learner, so would be happy to help with any virtual classes or homework if needed. I had a variety of babysitters that were positive role models for me growing up, so I am passionate about providing similar experiences for other children as these babysitters did for me.
