I offer short-term childcare, mornings and afternoons, Monday thru Sunday. My apartment's activities are ideal for children 6 and under. Sunny weather will merit trips to playgrounds and the library, rainy weather will be welcomed with crafts, kid's dance playlists, books, and a slightly absurd amount of classic toys (with a few electronic toys). Snacks will always be offered. I have one extremely lovely boy (2), and plenty of experience with my very creative niece (6), and her wildly rambunctious little sister (2). My son will be with me and plays extremely well with others. Please feel free to schedule a meet-and-play date, to ensure we're the right fit for you. Childcare at our home or yours. With children I focus on: communicating and listening; helping them problem solve through their feelings; using simple concepts to explain why an activity may be dangerous/not recommended; healthy eating; literacy; relaxing expectations and enjoying the moment (because goodness knows little tasks can take a very, very long time with kids).
