Hi there, my name is Natasha and I began babysitting for a family in my neighbourhood at age 12. I looked after their two girls, ages 9 and 7 years old at the time. I babysit for this family during 2011-2013. I babysat for another family during the summer months of 2014. I cared for two girls, ages 4 and 6. I worked in summer camps at the University of Ottawa, supervising children ages 6-17. Last summer as a counsellor, I led sports activities for young athletes, encouraged campers’ participation and learning in their sport. This summer I will be a counsellor for the dance camp. As an athlete on the women's rugby team at the university, I am passionate about encouraging children to stay active and be a part of team environments. In high school, I tutored students in advanced functions (math). At the University , I tutored 5 first year students in chemistry. I enjoyed helping these students advance in their academics. I received my Standard First Aid Certificate and my Safeguard training from the Life Saving Society in May 2018. Safeguard training focuses on the principles of aquatic safety supervision. I can care for all children (have experience with children ages 4-17) and my schedule is flexible.
