Since the age of 12, I have been a babysitter to several families. I had been referred to by many families who enjoyed having me care for their children. For the past two summers I have been a camp counsellor. Being a camp counsellor entailed dealing with over 10 kids a day for 8 hours. I cared highly for my campers and have nothing but positive things to say about my experience. Currently, I am a facilitator at the Autism Society of Newfoundland. I work with teenagers who have high-functioning autism. I help them towards getting a job. As well, I am in my third year at Memorial University and am currently enrolled in the Bachelor of Social Work program.
