I began babysitting at a young age and loved every second of it. I trained to be a lifeguard during highschool and worked as a swim instructor. This made me realize how much I enjoyed working with kids and how keeping them active and learning in the water can promote good behaviour and listening skills. I later became a daycare teacher at a Montessouri Preschool where I learned alternate ways of teaching and expanded my knowledge of everyday skills and activities that keep kids engaged. I also worked one on one with special needs children, specifically on the autism spectrum, which helped me gain insight into the challenges that these children go through and how successful they can be in overcoming them with the right help and guidance. That was an experience that I will cherish forever.
