I have been babysitting and taking care of kids for over a decade. This past summer I graduated from Lakehead University with a social work degree and until recently I worked with Big Brothers Big Sisters Guelph. While there I ran psychoeducation groups for grades 5/6 girls as well as mentored 5 "little sisters. I have worked with children with special needs in a high school and hospital setting and lived with a 2.5 year old boy whom I had lived with since birth. I'm passionate about childcare because I can relate to kids and I think that providing them with a safe space to grow and play and learn is the most important thing you can do.
