I am an experienced home educator of four children ranging in age from 4-16 with duo diagnosis of ASD and ADD. Having previously worked as a live-in nanny, ran a before/after school home care program, led church programs for children and teens, and organized trips, events and taught classes for mixed aged home school classes, I am well equipped to meet any child care need. I am inspired by a number of pedagogical teachings including those of Waldorf, Charlotte Mason, and John Holt and see the child as an individual to be guided holistically according to their natural proclivities. The world is a beautiful place to explore and I believe in learning through discovery and daily activities with an emphasis on time observing and engaging with the natural world. An engaged child is a productive and happy child. I also believe that the parent knows their child best and do my best to deliver care as close to what the parent would give themselves.
