Hello families! My name is Melanie and I am 32. I am an Ontario Certified K-6 teacher and RECE, living in Bolton L7E. I currently teach preschool-kindergarten math programs online through Outschool, but looking to supplement it with some in-person sitting near me, preferably 30-40 hours regularly to accommodate my online schedule (online programs begin at 5pm from my home), but open to more/less hours and on-call! A little bit about my experience: I have 10+ years working with children of all ages, abilities, and in a multitude of settings. I studied Early Childhood at Ryerson, so the early years are my passion but I love working with any age-group. Most recently I was an RECE in Toronto for nearly 5 years, but before that I worked as a full-time summer nanny for several families. I am a positive, responsible, loving caregiver and passionate educator. I am happy and confident implementing educational activities! I am willing to do some light meal prep for your children and clean up after ourselves.
