Since age 12, I've been actively involved in childcare, caring for siblings, friends, and children of family friends. This early experience surrounded me with younger children, fostering a passion for their care and development. Currently pursuing a career as an elementary school teacher, I have gained extensive experience in childcare and education. Three notable roles include coaching gymnastics at EPIC Gymnastics and Dance, where I ensured camper safety, assessed athletic performance, and tailored exercise programs. I assisted with student reading in English and French, organized engaging activities, and managed administrative tasks. As a camp leader over multiple summers, I prioritized camper safety, devised creative solutions for activity preferences, and designed age-appropriate programs encompassing arts, sports, and indoor activities like board games and storytelling. Additionally, I have worked with children with autism and Down Syndrome, reflecting my inclusive approach and willingness to care for children of diverse needs.
