I am a 19 year old student at Oulton College taking the Child and Youth Care program. Before I started at Oulton, I took a year off after High School graduation and for the 2017/18 school year, I worked at a daycare (ages 1 to 4) in the mornings and at an after school program (Gr K to 6) for the afternoons. While working at the after school program, I did one on one work with a child (grade 3) who had autism. For the 2018 summer months I worked with the after school program full time. I am an active person and i played ringette, baseball and soccer during my school years and helped do some coaching. I love being around children (and youth) of all ages. In addition to my current school courses, I also have first aid, and CPR training. I also completed babysitter training during Junior High and have lots of experience doing babysitting/ child caring. Most recently, I sat for a family who had four boys ranging in age from 4 to 13. I have my own car and am an accident free driver. My hours of availability would be weekday evenings after 5 as I have classes at Oulton and weekend days. References can be provided.
