Hello. I am a birth doula (eleven years) and in training to become a post partum doula. I have extensive nursing experience in various roles. I have worked in paediatrics for approximately ten years of my practice and I was also a paediatric clinical instructor for Fanshawe College/University of Western Ontario. I am also mother to three grown children and a fourth child who is thirteen. I have a lot of experience but I also love children and caring for them is an honour to me. I also have been a mother of young children while also working. I understand very well the need for competent and trustworthy care for children and their families. Life can be so busy and knowing your children are cared for in the best way possible greatly decreases the stress that can come with that. I am committed to caring for birthing mothers and their families during pregnancy, labour and delivery and post partum. I am looking for part time work as a nanny as it would compliment the work I already do. My doula work is flexible so that any time I am working for you and a client goes into labour I always have a back up doula to cover for me. Thank you in advance for your time and attention.
