I am very experienced in providing childcare, and have previously worked in a variety of childcare settings including: babysitting and nannying for several local families, working in a daycare setting, working as a counsellor at a children's summer camp for children with chronic illness and disability and being responsible for the direct 24/7 care of up to ten children, volunteering in the child and youth programs of the Sudbury YMCA (including an after school program, baby centre and leading a girls empowerment group) and teaching English to nursery aged children in Tanzania. I have experience leading a vast variety of child centered activities, being fully responsible for the 24/7 care of children, and have acted as both a mediator and role model for children of a variety of ages and needs. Most importantly, I genuinely enjoy spending time with children and treat them with complete respect and kindness.
