Hi there! My name is Laurissa and I'm very interested in being your childcare provider. I graduated from the psychology program at Ryerson University last year, and took many courses in child development, learning and memory and child abuse and neglect. I hope to be an elementary school teacher one day, so I have a passion for working with children. I've also been babysitting children of all ages since I was 11 years old, worked at numerous home daycares, and worked at Kids & Company daycare as a full time toddler/preschool teacher, and an occasional school age teacher. I believe that I'm the best person for this job, as teaching is my passion. I feel lucky to be able to work with children, influence their lives, and help them reach their full potential. I'm very creative, energetic, and a child at heart, so it's easy for me to get along with the children!
