I am currently a full time live in nanny in BC and I love my job, looking after and home schooling 2 pre-teens. My role includes meal prep, gathering educational material, building timetables and teaching, light housework, managing the children's extra curricular activities and play dates, overnight care and responsibility for the children when the parents are away. For over 8 years now I have been a homework tutor primarily for children ages 10-15, assisting with homework and testing needs. I believe in a gentle tutoring approach, tailoring the tutoring to each child's individual needs with how they best learn. I work at their pace & level keeping a calm and low pressure environment to ensure success! I have been a babysitter since the age of 14, and have also travelled with local families who needed reliable childcare when abroad! I have also had experience working as an overnight summer camp councillor at a Girl Scout camp in Maryland, USA.
