Hi! My name is Laura, I just graduated as a Social Service Worker at Durham College, I currently am a student at Laurier Brantford. My ultimate goal would be to get my Masters in Social Work so I can work at a sick kids Hospital. I have had a passion for working with children all my life. I completed the Red Cross Babysitting course when I was 11 years old and I have been babysitting multiple families since I was 12. I always keep my standard First Aid and CPR-C training up to date. I have completed a school placement at a Montessori school of which I used to go to school, I worked with preschool aged children as well at elementary school aged children which has been a great experience. I also did a second placement with Big Brothers Big Sisters as an in-school mentor and have conducted lunch groups and assisted in running an after-school program.
